The centre facilities are made up of:
- A Games Hall of sufficient size for four badminton courts, lit entirely artificially to standards which can be adjusted to the highest competition level.
- A 7 a-side 4G All Weather Pitch which can be booked for both casual and long-term lets.
- A General Purpose Room which accommodates about 60 people seated.
- A Prep Room sufficient for meetings or gatherings for around 12 people.
- A Kitchen with fridge, 2 ovens, hob, 2 microwaves, sink and plenty of worktop and prep space.
- A Small Office which can be used for various purposes.
- Male/ Female changing and shower facilities.
The All Weather Pitch located beside Ladywood Leisure Centre and is ideally suited for playing 7-a-side football in any weather conditions and at any time of the day. The pitch is fully flood lit and therefore can be hired upto 10pm all year round.
A more unusual aspect of the Ladywood Leisure Centre is the Boxing Excerise Room, the room which is attached to the main hall is equipped with a training ring, a number of speed, focus and heavy punch bags and a variety of weights. There’s now additional Treadmill,Cross Trainer,Rowing Machines and at only £2.50 access to the gym is great value for money!
Ladywood Leisure Centre also has a variety of other equipment which can be used for a number of different classes including Badminton, Boxercise, Gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do, Trampolining etc.
The facilities are ideal for a wide range of activities and events. Currently we are hosting events including: Dog Shows, Wrestling and Horticultural Shows.
The children’s parties can be any combination of the following:
- Bouncy Castle
- Football
- Disco
We are also keen to host other events on an ad hoc basis. The General Purpose Room, Kitchen, Prep Room and Games hall combine to give a flexible space for Parties and Events from very small up to 100 people.
