Ladywood Leisure Centre is open 9am -9pm          Mon to Thursday 9am -8pm          Friday 9am - 12:15pm  Saturday

Summer Holiday

The centre will be closed 1st to 15th July, both dates inclusive. There is a private party on the 16th but we look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 17th July. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers and staff who work so hard to keep the centre

Cost of living event

Everyone is welcome to pop along between 1pm - 4pm at the Ladywood Leisure Centre on Friday the 14th of April 2023, there will be a cafe accepting donations on the day for refreshments and a range of national and local organisations including those that are featured on the poster and more! —

Run by the community, for the community

16 years ago on the 24th January 2007, The running of Ladywood Leisure Centre was taken over by Penicuik Community Sports and Leisure Foundation. Following relentless community campaigning against the closure of Ladywood Leisure Centre and other local facilities Midlothian Council agreed to assist to ensure the building remained open for community use.

Childcare in Penicuik

In light of recent facebook posts we would like to clarify our position around the exit of School’s Out Penicuik from Ladywood Leisure Centre. School’s Out Penicuik refused to pay facility hire at a time when the Centre was not fully operational from a lockdown. Following an initial rent free period to establish the provision

Iain Ramage (aka Pud) – Retirement Celebration

Our legend of a manager, Iain (Pud) Ramage is retiring and will be sorely missed. Saturday 12th March 1-4pm. All welcome. A local poet, Burns Scott has penned a piece we have called Ode to Pud We Wish You A Very Happy Retirement Mr Ramage, you are a legend!
